Linda Knighton has been an independent financial advisor for twenty-four years. Prior to joining LPL Financial in 2021 she served in the same capacity with HDVest, Investors Financial Advisors, American Express Financial Advisors and Financial Network Investment Corporation. Before her tenure as a financial advisor she was a marketing consultant to small businesses in Roanoke and Lynchburg and enjoyed a career in sales.

In addition to the financial aspect, she has also assisted clients with their health insurance needs since 1998. She has offered Medicare Advantage plans since 2008 along with Medicare supplements and drug coverage.

Linda holds a B.A. from Mary Baldwin College which she completed in three years. She is a native of Roanoke, VA and has been active over the years in such community organizations as Salem Rotary, Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Jaycees.

Linda continues to reside in Roanoke. Active in the avian world, Linda is the proud “parent” of three fids (feathered kids) – Zeek, a 29 year old African Gray, Blue, a 36 year old Blue and Gold Macaw and Ricki, a 27 year old White-Cap Pionus, and Gizmo, 7 year old (Bugg-Boston Terrier and Pug Mix). She has also been an active member of the Southwest Virginia Bird Club.
